Three Sons – Occoquan Regional Park
After taking senior pictures of Robert I took a few extra pictures of him and his younger brothers.

Papson – Family Portraits
Yesterday, on my way home from visiting family in State College, Pennsylvania, I popped over to see a dear friend (I can’t call her an old friend because she is young enough to be my daughter); it was so nice to catch up on what’s been going on in our lives and I got a chance to meet her adorable son Caden.
Of course I brought my camera (don’t leave home without it).
Look at those blue eyes and cute smile. So sweet!!

Kristina – Senior Portraits
I have known Kristina for a few years now, she is naturally photogenic and fun to work with! We went to Lake Ridge Park on the Occoquan Reservoir for her senior portraits. Kristina has been there many times because she is a member of Hylton Senior High Schools crew team going on 4 years now.
Enjoy your senior year Kristina, college is right around the corner!!

Fall Family Portraits
Fun, Fall, Family Photos with my Favorite Family!! That’s a tongue twister. I met up with my best friend and her family for some long overdue family photos. Fall is a great time for pictures; the beautiful trees provide a wonderful natural backdrop for portraits. Great smiles everyone, I had a hard time picking just a few for this sneak peek.

A little fun with some props! Such good sports they are
Carolyn and her girls!

Dad and his beautiful daughters; hold tight Jim, they’re growing up fast.

Kelsey – Senior Portraits
WoW, a Senior! Where has the time gone. Over the years, I have watched Kelsey grow up into a wonderful young lady. When it came time for senior portraits, of course I was excited.

Lauren and Chris – E-Pics
Wednesday evening I met with Lauren and Chris in the town of Occoquan for their engagement pictures. It was a warm, beautiful evening and we had a good time exploring some of Occoquan’s old buildings and alleyways. As we were walking around we met a cat that seemed to take an interest in what we were doing and kept trying to get in the pictures; Chris called him Buttercup. Congratulations Lauren and Chris!!

Our friend and tour guide “buttercup”.

The Anderson Family!
Yesterday evening I met with the Anderson family for a photo shoot we have tried to schedule many times. Since they let me pick the location I chose a place that is so close we were able to walk there. It is one of the last corners not yet touched by the suburban sprawl. I know it will be gone soon and I have driven by it for so many years now wanting to explore and take pictures; such a great location. With the 4th of July just days away and a red, white and blue shed I thought it was a great spot for some July pictures. Family pictures are so fun; I had a great time with them!!
Ken and Jen will be celebrating their 20th anniversary this year!! Congratulations

Grandma’s Dresses!!
Heather wanted some pictures in her Grandmother’s wedding dress. So it got me thinking and we pulled together a bunch of vintage items. Heather and Kristin’s shoes + Mom’s earrings + Grandma’s dresses, gloves and purses + Great-Grandmas necklaces, bracelets and pocket watch + Great-Great Grandmas blanket = a GREAT afternoon and 5 generations represented in 1 photo!

Tommi’s making some changes!
Friday night I went out with my long time friend Tommi; she’s making some changes and moving to the city. She found a quaint place in Old Town Alexandria and is looking forward to the life ahead of her. Of course I brought along my camera and I had to take some pictures!! Tommi you look Marvelous!!

Cheerleading is a sport!!
Today I met with Jasmine to get some pictures of her in her cheerleading uniform. She really enjoyed her first year participating on the team and cheering on her fellow Bobcats. She was telling me that tryouts for next year are coming up. Wishing you good luck Jasmine and…………… GO BOBCATS!!

Another Photo Shoot with Kristin and Robel
Whenever I find an new and interesting location, I can always count on Kristin and Robel to be my models. I have been eyeing an old barn for almost a year now. The rain held off on Sunday and it was the perfect day. We walked away with a bunch of amazing pictures.

Great Falls National Park with Jenn and AJ
Jennifer and AJ were drafted last weekend to go along with me to find Great Falls National Park and take some pictures. I have not been to the park in over 20 years; I don’t know what has kept me away but I finally made my way there and it was beautiful. Jenn and AJ were troopers letting me take their pictures. Thanks girls!! It was a beautiful day!!
